A balanced diet

Plants can use a whole zipper elements that contribute to the growth, production of leaf green and other important processes. In the growth phase they need those elements in different proportions than in flowering. Fortunately, you don’t have to worry about that with a good basic nutrition. For example, our growing diet Alga Grow is tailored to the needs of plants in the growing phase. Basic power supplies are available in all kinds and sizes, but Plagron’s power supplies are liquid and fairly concentrated. In short: you have to dilute it in the water you give the plants.

Mixing ratios

Alga Grow has a concentration of 1:250. This means that 1 ml of the food must be watered at 250 ml. If you translate that into a liter of water, you have to add up to 4 ml Alga Grow to that liter of water.

• You start with the right amount of water. Most buckets or casters have a graduation and you can see how much water you need to take.
• Measure the correct amount of Alga Grow in a measuring cup and add to the water. Stir it with a rudder rod.
• If you have mixed the food well through the water, you can give the nutrient water to your plants.
