2. Data we process
We process information you provide, such as your name, company, business email address, telephone number, country or region, enquiry type, and message. Hosting and security services may also process technical information such as IP address, time, browser details, requested page, and security signals.
3. Purposes and legal bases
We use data to answer enquiries, perform agreements and orders, operate the website securely, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations. Depending on the situation, the legal basis is performance of a contract, legitimate interests, consent, or a legal obligation.
4. Contact forms and retention
Business enquiries are sent by email and stored as a protected inbound message in WordPress. That raw form record is deleted after twelve calendar months. Data that becomes part of an active business relationship, accounts, or a statutory record may be kept longer in the appropriate systems.
5. Cookies and local storage
Complianz stores your cookie choice in necessary first-party cookies with names beginning cmplz_*. These record your consent choices, the policy version and the cookie-banner status for up to 180 days. Use Manage cookies in the footer to view, change or withdraw your choice.
Your selected language is stored in localStorage as segment_gateway_language. It has no automatic expiry and remains until you clear the browser’s site data or change your language choice. Only if the campaign popup is enabled, segment_gateway_campaign_closed in sessionStorage remembers its dismissal for the browser session. The campaign popup is currently disabled. The calculator does not store your inputs in cookies or local storage.
No external analytics or advertising tags are enabled by default. Optional analytics, advertising or external media are used only when configured and after you consent to the relevant category or service. Fonts and images load from our own website. YouTube and social-media links open an external website; they are not embedded players or feeds. That website’s privacy rules apply after you open the link.
Cloudflare Turnstile protects forms against bots and abuse and is a necessary security service. Pages using this protection may contact challenges.cloudflare.com before you make a cookie choice. Cloudflare processes signals including your IP address, browser and connection characteristics, and the website where the check occurs. A Turnstile token is not a tracking cookie. Turnstile adds a cf_clearance cookie only if additional Cloudflare pre-clearance is configured.
If the consent service is temporarily unavailable, optional components remain blocked; consent is not assumed. You can remove cookies and site data through your browser. The site may then ask for your language and cookie choices again.
6. Service providers and transfers
We share data only with providers needed for hosting, email delivery, form processing, security, abuse prevention, and technical maintenance, or when required by law. They may process data only under our instructions. For transfers outside the European Economic Area, we use a recognised safeguard where required.
7. Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures, including access controls, updates, encrypted connections, and limited retention. No system is risk-free, so please report suspected misuse or a breach promptly.
8. Your rights
Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to processing. You can withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing. We may request information to verify identity and will respond within the legal period.
9. Complaints, external links, and changes
You may complain to the competent data-protection authority. Third-party websites have their own statements. We may update this statement when services or legal requirements change; the latest revision date appears above.
